13 Jul Pre-deployment training for Cadet Force Adult Volunteers

Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) completed their pre-deployment training recently.

The day was packed with vehicle re-familiarisation, dangerous goods training, mandatory on-line training, safeguarding updates, and a full walk through of the camp plan. The training was designed to make sure the CFAVs are all prepared and ready to go when they arrive at the annual camp very soon.

Shropshire Army Cadet Force also held a familiarisation putting potential new instructors through Safe Person training. This is a huge step towards building extra support at detachment level so that more cadets get the guidance and experience they deserve.
