The Shropshire Army Cadet Force Trust supports volunteer adults and youngsters in The Army Cadet Force in Shropshire with financial aid, skills development, personal growth and much more. With over 500 cadets and 110 adult volunteers across 22 detachments, youth training and education benefits feed into local and neighbouring communities.

The Army Cadet Force has a vast heritage and remains one of the UK’s most successful youth organisations that positively influences the lives of Shropshire Army Cadets from the age of 13.

The Shropshire Army Cadet Force Trust board of trustees brings a plethora of experience to the table, from long-standing military service careers to education and training pursuits as well as business ventures across Shropshire. 

Patron

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Anna Turner, is the patron of the Shropshire Army Cadet Force Trust. As a true Salopian, Anna has given many years of voluntary service to the county, not least as a magistrate for 27 years. 

Bursary Programme

Shropshire Army Cadet Force Trust bursaries are available to help deserving young individuals embark on their transformative journey. The bursary programme is designed to support talented and motivated young people in pursuing personal growth, leadership development and educational advancement within the Cadet Force.
