Training weekends such as these give opportunities for cadets to learn team-building, leadership, life skills, discipline, grow in confidence and much more.

“Over the weekend of 07th – 9th March, a group of dedicated cadets has successfully completed key training courses at Parsons Barracks, demonstrating exceptional skill and leadership.
All cadets who attended the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle training have now passed their 1-Star Skill at Arms (SAA) qualification, marking an important milestone in their progression. Their hard work and commitment to safe and effective weapons handling were evident throughout the course.
Additionally, 10 cadets took part in the Junior Cadet Instructor Cadre (JCIC), with all participants passing successfully. These cadets showcased impressive leadership and instructional abilities, developing innovative and engaging teaching methods to support their peers.
This achievement highlights the dedication and professionalism of the cadets involved, reinforcing the high standards of training delivered at Parsons Barracks.
