Shropshire Army Cadet Force proudly entered two teams into the Regional First Aid Competition, with both teams achieving impressive results by securing 2nd and 3rd place in the ACF rankings.
First Aid competitions provide cadets with a valuable opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in emergency medical care. Throughout the competition, participants were tested in a variety of realistic scenarios, where they were required to assess situations, apply first aid techniques, and maintain clear communication under pressure.
The cadets showcased their abilities in areas such as CPR, wound care, handling fractures, and making critical decisions in simulated emergency environments. Teams were also evaluated on their teamwork, leadership, and adherence to proper protocols.
These events not only sharpen cadets’ first aid skills but also foster teamwork, critical thinking, and confidence in managing real-life emergencies. Congratulations to both teams for their outstanding performance!
