07 Jun Newly-appointed Lord-Lieutenant Cadet first official duty.
ACF Cadet Staff Sergeant Willow Chattington-Lowe undertook her first duty as Lord-Lieutenant cadet this week, at the Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire garden party.
Over 500 invited guests attended the event, whose theme was to thank the amazing volunteers of Shropshire.
Willow escorted the Lord-Lieutenant and Vice Lord-Lieutenant throughout the event, met with some wonderful volunteers and also met Garrison Sergeant Major Andrew John Stokes OBE MVO DL.
GSM is charged with organising all ceremonial events in London including the Trooping of the Colour and was heading back to the capital to continue preparations for this year.
He was pleased to meet Willow and said she looked smart (but he did rearrange her red sash). She can now boast her dress was corrected by the GSM, one of the most senior Warrant Officers.

His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire Anna Turner hosted a Garden Party for her deputies, sponsor’s and invited guests in the grounds of Orleton Park, Telford.
Supported by three Lord-Lieutent Cadets, RAF personnel from Shawbury and Cosford with music provided by Jackfield Band.
