02 Jul Armed Forces Day – 2025

The annual Armed Forces Family Day was held in the beautiful grounds of Shrewsbury Castle on 14th June 2025.

The event is an opportunity to celebrate and say thank you to our Armed Forces Community locally.

Shropshire Army Cadet Force Bligny Band and Bugles opened the event. There were stalls and activities for all ages, refreshments and music, and activities happening in side the castle too

Shropshire Army cadets had two stands – one for archery and one for laser tag.

It was lovely to meet with people and introduce them to the cadet life and have a chance to discuss the amazing things the cadets do.
