03 Jul The Bligny Band and Bugles Support the Shropshire Society in London

The Bligny Band and Bugles have been busy this last week.

On saturday 29th June 2024 the Band opened the Armed Forces Day event at Shrewsbury Castle. They then played at their second event of the day for the Shropshire Society in London.

The Society were hosting a fund-raising afternoon tea at Cosford Grange, near Shifnal and were delighted to welcome the band as part of the festivities.

“The cadets found it a really valuable experience” said Lt D Field.

Dr Graham Wynn OBE (Chairman of Shropshire Army Cadet Force Trust and Shropshire Society in London) added:

“The Bligny Band and Bugles really added to the festivities and it was lovely to welcome them as part of the event and help to raise their profile within Shropshire”
