Text taken from Shropshire Army Cadet Force Facebook page
“Shropshire Army Cadet Force has entered seven Rifles Affiliated Cadets into the Rifles Cadet Cup for the first time in many years.
The cadets from Shropshire ACF have successfully concluded the intensive training phase of the Rifles Cadet Cup, held at Sennybridge. The cadets spent a full day rotating through seven demanding training stations, sharpening their military skills.
The exercises covered a wide range of topics essential for operational readiness, including “Why Things are Seen,” communications, battlefield casualty extraction, explosive ordnance clearance, section attacks, navigation, patrol lanes, and camouflage and concealment techniques. Following the training, the cadets were treated to a display of advanced weaponry, showcasing the next phase of their preparation for the competition tomorrow.
Well done Cadets, keep going and best of luck for tomorrow.
