It was wonderful for Trustees from our Trust to attend this and meet with some of the Shropshire Army Cadets we are supporting.

On October 13, 2024, the Shropshire Army Cadets gathered at St Aulkmund’s Church for their annual Banner Day Parade, a prestigious event celebrating the cadets’ dedication and achievements. The ceremony was attended by local dignitaries and community leaders, adding to the significance of the occasion.
The highlight of the day was the formal presentation and blessing of all the detachment and Shropshire ACF County Banners. During a solemn drumhead ceremony, the banners were officially handed over to the detachment cadets for the upcoming year. The service was led by the Shropshire Army Cadets Padre, who delivered a heartfelt blessing over the banners and the cadets.
Banner Day provides a special opportunity for cadets and adult volunteers to unite outside their regular training environment. The event stands as a proud testament to the camaraderie, discipline, and spirit that define the Shropshire Army Cadets.
