08 Jul Market Drayton Platoon – Fundraising

The Trust were recently sent a report about some cadet fundraising activities taking place.

Army cadets from the Market Drayton platoon arranged an event to raise funds for their chosen charity – the Royal British Legion Battle Back Centre in Lilleshall.

The Battle Back Centre was established by the Royal British Legion in 2011 to support wounded and injured service personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Their aim is to help ensure the best possible recovery for the Armed Forces community, whether it’s returning to duty or successfully transitioning to civilian life.

The cadets participated in fitness related activities and thoroughly enjoyed raising funds for their chosen charity.
