B Company recruit seven new adult volunteers

Our Trust supports the army cadets of Shropshire – both the young cadets and the adult volunteers – with financial aid, skills development and personal growth.
It was great to read this post on the Shropshire Army Cadet Force Facebook page. If you want to help us to support them too, click here

“B Company went above and beyond to recruit seven new Adult Volunteers, who attended a County Familiarisation Day on Sunday, 25 January 2025. The event introduced them to life in Shropshire ACF and helped them decide if they wanted to take the next step in joining our team.
By the end of the day, the County and B Company in particular gained six enthusiastic Potential Instructors and one dedicated Non-Uniformed Volunteer. They are pictured here alongside Colonel John Mytton, Commandant; Lt Colonel Nigel Sarling, Deputy Commandant; and Adult Under Officer Jim Franklyn.
The day’s activities included ice-breakers, informative lectures, personal presentations, and interviews. It all culminated with the new recruits taking the Cadet Force Promise, after which they were formally welcomed into the County by Colonel Mytton.
Congratulations to our new team members! We’re thrilled to have you onboard.
