These amazing values will stand cadets in good stead for life – and will help them be employees of choice when they start their working life.

The other aspect we would like to highlight are the amazing adult volunteers who give of their time, energy and skills – many thanks  to you all for making this possible.

“On 30 May, Shropshire ACF hosted the 2026 Shropshire Tri-Service Cadet Clay Target Competition at Donnington. The event was another great success, bringing together cadets from all three services: Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, and Air Cadets.

It was fantastic to see such a high standard of talent and enthusiasm on display throughout the competition. Every cadet who took part should be immensely proud of representing their respective service with honour, dedication, and professionalism.

The majority of the silverware was shared between the Army Cadets and Air Cadets, reflecting the impressive performances delivered on the day. However, the true highlight of the competition was the outstanding sportsmanship demonstrated by all participants, who competed in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect.

Congratulations to all the cadets who took part and contributed to making the event such a memorable occasion.

Special thanks must also go to the Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers who generously gave their time and effort to support the competition and ensure its successful delivery.
